Who is Paul?
Paul Williams is the founder of Paul's Auto and Metals. He grew up in Harper Iowa. Raised to treat others with respect, to have a great work ethic and the knowledge to identify value in the things around him. While he has worked different avenues of Auto building. He has taken what he has learned over the years as applied it to the metal recycling business.
How we got our Start
We got our start in Harper, Iowa as Paul's Auto in 1989. At the time Paul was working on late model builders. He then started buying junk cars and farm equipment. Before he knew it he was buying all other metals and eventually out grew his Harper yard. Paul's Auto then moved to What Cheer for a short time. The Rose Hill property on 92 came up for sale and he couldn't pass up being on a main highway. Since he has expanded getting scales large and small to accomidate all types and sizes of scrap metals.

What we are About
There have been a lot of people that needed a place to get rid of scrap metal. We have done our best to help them clean up and put money in thier pocket. As they cleaned up they were making the county look better and going through us recycled those metals.
We have a passion for helping others. The idea of helping people clean up and give them a bit of cash is something we have pride in. We meet a lot of nice people when they come into our yard. We are happy to help them out by picking up metal or dropping of a trailer for them to use. We are always looking for better ways to get the job done for those that we are buying metals from.
